I need to video what I'm getting right now. Gusto's turned all weird about this one. He basically just tucks one hind leg up as tight as he can, and hops on the other one. I'm thinking of going back to using the wall for a while to get him going all the way up again.
On the other hand, I think I could teach a great hind-leg limp with what he's giving me now. But I don't want to break the handstand by working on it right now!
Crossbone is doing a variation of this too. He'll pick his right leg up as high as it goes and then lift the other leg off. I've been trying to only reward when he lifts both legs at the same time...but I feel ya!
