What she said.

How can you possibly have un born puppies breeding a planned?? You have no idea what they are going to turn out like. The lines you are thinking of could be totally wrong for them.

You need to calm down and focus on this one litter. If you are a decent breeder you either suck it up and have a winter litter AFTER your bitch is tested or you suck it up and wait even longer for a summer litter. Either way you would be waiting if you gave two craps about health testing.

See if it were me, and it was my bitch, I wouldn't allow anything but health tested males to be bred to her. If the stud owners won't health test, or you can't pay to have the stud health tested, then oh well, no litter.

This. The exception, for me, being an otherwise exceptionally nice dog who died years ago and has semen on ice, but in that case I would be doing some serious homework and research into what the dog's lines and the dog himself was known to produce.

What actually frustrates the hell out of me is that I seem to be more familiar with what many individual dogs in this person's pedigrees produce health and temperament wise than she is or cares to be, and it isn't my breed.

But hey, they're tricolor...

If I were trying to make a good impression for a breed I would make sure I did everything I could. Not cut corners just because.

This really, really concerns me that you can't think of anything that could be a deal breaker. I can think of at least three things off the top of my head that are still potential deal breakers for Payton and he's two and a half. Honestly Payton's conformation just really settled down in the last two months to give me a really good idea of his structure and what we need to work well with him. I understand knowing you intend to breed and having some dogs picked out, but apparently you've already sold at least four puppies from this litter? What happens if in the next three months something happens with her structure that makes her a poor match for this stud?
Your bitch's OFA x-rays aren't even done and won't be by the time you breed and you REALLY can't think of anything?

If she's really so great that you already know there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that could go wrong seeing that you've planned out how to not only breed her, but how to breed her progeny as well, I don't understand why you're lamenting you don't have the money to give to a stud owner and insist on their health testing - you should have people tripping over themselves and happy to health test their dogs if it means they get to breed to her. Which is clearly not the case.

Well then whoops, there goes the breed. I dont think you understand. there are exactly ZERO people in this breed who are health testing. if thats my requirement, right now, then nobody is allowed to breed and so sorry too bad so sad, no more American Bully

SOMEBODY has to start doing it right

Also, to everyone else, I dont ****ing recall asking for chazhounds permission or approval about my program and plans. Just my questionnaire.

Hmm......not to be a bitch here but shouldn't you worry about getting stable housing and a good job first? You know.....like in your vents in the vent thread about being poor and broke and etc.

Oh....and.....I'm not made of money either but my male.is only bred to health tested females and extensively health tested at that.

Oh....and......LoLa is related to Tori and.....guess what....she has genetic health issues......many of them......but yeah....please keep breeding!!!! I mean when your kennel partner gets 2000-4000 a puppy....why not breed.

It's sick saying your less than age appropriate puppy is breed worthy and people wonder why people hate American bully breeders.

I don't recall anybody asking for your permission to give their opinion on them either. And you did say you were delighted to show off your breeding plans, presumably in response to this:

I'd rather analyze & critique your breeding program/plans :P
So it seems you were happy to have people critique your breeding plan until it went sour for you. If you post it up on a public forum, you can't control what people will say or how they respond to it.

"Somebody has to start....but I'm not going to unless everybody else is" is probably the wrong mentality.
