The girls are getting so big!

Clive turned 3 yesterday! Today he got to move to the 3 yr room at daycare, where they start with more structured activities. One of the supplies he's supposed to take in for activities is safety scissors....I'm not sure of my comfort level of my just turned 3 year old with scissors, lol

Happy birthday Clive!

Lilly celebrated six official months today. I'm busy trying to survive my first holiday season as a mum

So Katie has her life planned out. She is going to be a police man and have a police dog. Then have her fire dog and a pug at home. My child is strange. Lmao

Everyone's kids are growing up too fast.

Blakey is 14 months and still nursing (kill me now). He is the sweetest little one. Very friendly, smart and really into helping. It blows my mind how very much toddler like he already is.

Briggs is three now and we are having a lot of challenges. He is a very jealous little boy and is getting increasingly more aggressive as the days are going on. On a brighter note we are also having a lot of gains. His words he understands have exploded. He knows all his shapes, colours, can count to 30 forwards and backwards, knows the alphebet and is learning to read... now if only he was able to understand conversation! Ha. So pleased with his progress.

Blake and Briggs are both so handsome! Yay for Briggs' progress, too.

I have a question/concern - Lillian is 6 months old and formula fed. She still wakes up frequently in the night, sometimes to eat, sometimes not. Today the doctor said there's no reason she can't sleep through the night (food wise) so try to slowly switch over her night formula to water.

I've heard mixed opinions on that, but as she isn't breastfeeding, I'm not totally against it. I'm not sure it's the right thing to do...anyone have any experience with this?

6 months is still very much a baby. Regardless of formula or breastfeeding, babies should eat when hungry.

The problem is, I don't think she's actually hungry. It seems more like a habit, for one thing. Some nights she'll just take a few sucks of her bottle (less than 1/2 an oz), every hour or so, seemingly to fall back asleep. Other nights she'll drink 12 oz overnight, and then go 4-5 hours in the daytime without eating. I've tried more frequent day feedings, but it doesn't seem to help.

I don't mind feeding her through the night if she's really hungry, and would still offer her formula at 12 and 4 (she's got an 8 bedtime), but I'm really not sure she's actually hungry at 12, 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 anymore.

Is that reasonable?

It's never a good thing when day care's number shows up on your call display. I picked Katie up yesterday with a temp of 103. Poor kid she just feels rotten. She seems to be a bit better. Grandma and Papa took over for me around 3:30am since I had to work at 8:00. Hopefully she's much better today. If not I think they will take her to the walk in clinic for me. I it's super serious I will leave work. My co worker is great but the boss is a dunk ass with no compassion or understanding of life so unless its very serious I wouldn't be able to leave without risking being fired. I'm sure she's fine though jut feels like crap. She's in good hands for the day though

Miss Thang loves to get her hair done... and stress herself... She's getting too big too fast! She turned three on the 18th off last month.
