Little-known facts about Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred

--The Mystery Machine is owned by Daphne's father. It's a four-wheel drive vehicle.

--Every food that Shaggy has ever eaten on the show is meatless.

--Shaggy's real name is Norville Rogers.

--Velma is only 15 years old and hence can't drive the Mystery Machine. Daphne is old enough to drive it (she's 16) but has never done so, even though it belongs to her family.

--Scooby is a Great Dane.

--After The Gang gave up crime-fighting, Daphne became a famous TV reporter, and Freddy became her cameraman. Velma took a job in a bookstore, and Shaggy and Scooby became security guards.

--Freddy is the only member of The Gang who has never had a relative appear on the show.

...and... did you know that the guy who did the scooby-dooby-doo voice (Don Messick) also did Muttley's wicked snicker?

lol its weird because i knew the first thing about the Mystery Machine belonging to Daphne's dad how i knew this I'll never know how I knew.I also knew that Scooby was a Great Dane but that was pretty obviouse to me. I was a big Scooby Doo fan in my younger years and even though im not a huge fan anymore i still smile when i see it on tv or Scooby Doo items in stores. My youngest nephew Caleb has now taken charge of being the major Scooby Doo fan in the family.

My friend lived right next to the guy who did the scooby voice. He met him n' stuff.
