Totally! The Scottish Prisoner is kind of an offshoot Outlander novel, it's in the Lord John Grey series but Jamie features prominently. So I like it.

I recently finished A Game of Thrones. Heading to the used book store later to pick up Clash of Kings.

As for the Outlander series, do you find yourself reading some of the parts in a Scottish brogue? It's written a bit that way, but it comes out like a cross between Mel Gibson and Scrooge McDuck in my head

Currently, I'm reading "Rise of Nine" (book 3 of the Lorien series).

I just read "The Name of the Wind" and am halfway through "The Wise Man's Fear" by Patrick Rothfuss.

How did I just now know these books existed?!

Best book(s) I have read in a long time.

I'm going to start on "A Game of Thrones" next and hope that series will tide me over for a time.

Except I lost my kindle cord, so until I find it I can't finish that book (ARGG!). .[/QUOTE]

I also lost my kindle cord (never have found it) but realized one of our phone chargers fits into it and works. Just be very careful seeing if it fits.
