Pepper, I'm sending lots of healing vibes as well as gentle kisses & hugs your way. Smkie, hugs to you too. I'm so glad you knew what to do which saved her life. I'm in tears and just so glad to hear she's on the mend.

Sending lots of healing vibes! I can't imagine how scary that would've been, although I have been in a situation somewhat similar... but there wasn't a way to stop the bleeding. Always very scary to be in any situation like that. She is very lucky to have such a diligent owner, that's for sure.

I thought we might sleep on the sofa, and then I realized she might try to jump down so we made a pad of blankets on the floor and stayed there. She did ok last night, and is resting this morning ok. She must have scared that raccoon good because he didn't come back last night. Thank you for the well wishes.

There seems to be birds nesting in the fire wall of my fireplace so she has entertainment for her resting.

I never took a job using my emt license but I am still glad I studied and passed the test. THis is the third time what I learned was good to know.

So I take out her pain med...drop it, she grabs it and down it goes before I can get that apparantly ymmy tablet back because she was only suppose to have half every 12 hours. Panic..call the vet, and was told she will be ok. A little drowsy, but ....no more today. I think i am just about to my edge. Have had to adjust to a 3 yr old and a one year old full time all week of learning how to BE NICE to the animals. Do NOT pull the cat's tail. Yesterday with hurt dog. Friday was easier than Monday. Hopefully next week will be more so. In the mean time..I can hear Grammy tell Pepper Heal! So that is what I am telling her.
