You could own one with a tail. I don't know about Brittanys, but I know tons of people nowadays who have tailed Aussies. Some breeders are leaving them on for performance.

I also would love a Standard Poodle- but don't like the grooming

St. Bernard, Newfy, or Great Pyreness- hair/drool

Bullmastiff, Dogue de Bordeaux- drool!

Well like I said there are honestly other breeds that are higher on the list and my household roster is very limited. And it's not just being against docking or anything... some Aussies are natural bobs after all.

But yeah I know a couple Aussies with tails. No Brittanys, though I've heard of some through the grapevine.

It would just narrow my breeder selection a great deal, and I'd likely have to commit to a particular puppy at birth which I'm not really willing to do. But yeah, I realize I could work about it if I was truly determined

I know a breeder who leaves tails on brittanys, my friend has one from her.

Here's her as a puppy

Dobermans.
but renting is impossible in this city/many cities. Renting an apartment with a dog is already a mission.. I am not prepared to give up a kidney/life 2000 miles away from the city to find a place that would allow a dobe.

Oh and Merlin is pretty insulted about the distaste for his rabbit butt

Brittany tails are awesome!

Standard poodle - i don't like how curly their coats are. I think they are super cool dogs, but their coat is 'wrong'

Very pretty Brittany!

I know of 2 litters of Aussies within the last year in which the entire litter was left tailed, so one wouldn't really have to commit at birth, just find a breeder who had decided to go that route.

These:

have tails

Haha.

She is lovely and fast and agile. She just floats over 22" jumps and she's pretty teeny. She's going to be a great agility dog.

Honestly, APBTs would have been my forever breed if it wasn't for their higher chances of DA.
