(watching them race on land, in shallows, and in open water was a fabulous illustration of structure in motion and why different breeds are built in different ways)

(there's totally a 3-legged FCR in the local HS, poor lad ended up there after being hit by a truck and having extensive damage to his hind leg leading to amputation)

Thanks Jess I'm really really happy with how she is maturing, as are her breeders.

Sorry to hear about the dog in the local shelter . Has anyone tried contacting the FCRSC? I don't know what programs they have in place to help rescue dogs that are ID'd as FCRs, but it may be worth a try.
