They just changed it, so now you can get a "junior license" at 16 with driver's ed or 17 without it (you still need 500 hours of supervised driver signed off by a parent). I think you meant 50 hours? I looked it up and could not find 500... plus a lot of people don't drive 500 hours in a year.

I don't like the no parkway restrictions. Some of them are more tricky than the average road, but what better time to learn than when you have an instructor.
