AlliePets: A Signal Boost

I just sent an email to my friends and clientele regarding this, so if you received that, this is a repeat.

So...

While I generally keep my personal and business lives as two separate things, when you're a sole proprietor of a little hobby business like mine, sometimes the two just tend to coincide. I'm writing you all today because I have made a drastic, positive change in my life, and in turn I am on my own for the first time in thirteen years. While it is a good thing and I'm looking forward to what the future has in store, it's also scary and requires change. I have a home I want to keep, and six wonderful pets with mouths to feed. While I have an incredible day job with lots of support and networks available to me, I still need a financial boost to reach the goals I have in mind.

This is where I'm asking you all for help!

I'm really putting my full force forward with AlliePets in 2013, as I'm sure many of you have noticed - with the new Art For A Cause project, new website, and some other fun things on the horizon like website freebies and products for sale, lots of great things are happening.

What I'm primarily asking for, from all of you, is a signal boost. In any way you can think of that would benefit. Some suggestions:

• Perhaps the obvious one: Buy artwork from me if you have something you'd like. The more work I have, the more I get in turn. You can also get gift certificates for others, or commission commercial work for your small business (pet or otherwise).
  
• Write a testimonial about my work that I can use on my website. You can email them to me.
  
• Write me a professional recommendation on my LinkedIn profile.
  
• Promote my website, Facebook page, or Twitter when I announce new promotions, products and contests.
  
• Locally, I'd like to be involved with more events, shows, and fundraisers. Doggy caricatures on-site for $20, half of proceeds go to the rescue! An easy, low-space way to contribute to your rescue event. I also have a 10 x 10 booth setup for larger events. Contact me if you have an event you'd like me to attend! I'm also willing to travel a little with due notification.
  
• Have your own pet-related business? Perhaps we can collaborate or cross-promote. Contact me and let's see how we can help each other!
  
• If you have a rescue fundraiser that you need a prize, poster design, or other services for, contact me. I provide a certain amount of free service/donations to appropriate causes as I'm able.

Chazzers are my first love when it comes to clients, you know that. I appreciate all the help you've given me so far and any help you can continue to give would be just incredible! Good, fun, awesome things are on the horizon.
