The Venting Thread

In a bad fckin mood today.
I am the kind of person that when plans are made, they need to stay that way. Especially plans that have been made for almost 3 WEEKS. Apparently thats not normal. So when plans change or disappear, I get very nervous and irritated.

Also, my stomach is so sour that it feels like it is rotting, and I have had a headache like a bitch since about 8am.

I want to get a bottle of Jack Daniels, a tub of apple pie a la mode from Baskin Robbins, and curl up in my bed and watch angry war movies all day.

Been a crazy morning, and an emotional day for me and many of my friends... no, "friends" is not the right word. An emotional day for me and my dysfunctional radio family, which I am glad to still be a part of, even though I have parted ways with radio as a profession.

I ate lunch before coming to work for the afternoon, but not enough... I'm starving. And my co-workers got food so I smell sammiches. And fries. And BACON. Bacon. =|
Why is it only 2pm. I want to go home and eat.

Payton's first official agility class is tonight and I'm nervous. Very. nervous. Probably made worse by the emotional aspects of today.

Beezer keeps eating my chapstick dang it. Why can't I remember to put it up where he can't get it? or even better... why doesn't he just STOP EATING IT?!?!?!?!

my lips hurt and he just ate my last tube.

Now Belle is staring at me licking her lips while I eat a slice of cheese wrapped in turkey. NO, FAT DOG... I'm not sharing lol

I locked Tipper in the kitchen with her kennel open so I could nap this afternoon. NEVER AGAIN.

Also I'm getting her nails cut back next time she has to be put under and if I don't maintain them someone needs to boot me.

I work at a vet's office. The vet I work with is so sure she's always correct, even when she is not. She ranted today about Westminster, because there were "too many cropped breeds" making the cut and if a cropped breed won, everyone would want their pups cropped Why won't AKC learn??

I'm all for everyone having their own opinion on cropping/docking but we dock tails and declaw cats!! We also remove sexual organs. Cropping ears is not more painful than removing cat claws and dog tails (and she will dock older pups as well). If you want to poo poo elective procedures, so be it, but do not pick and choose.

She also ranted about the OES's grooming (that's how the breed is groomed....) and texted a coworker because the sign by the Bulldog just said Bulldog. She thinks the name is English Bulldog and sneered (if you can sneer in a text) that "AKC doesn't even know what breeds they have!!"

Sweet jesus.

I split with my partner of thirteen years last night. It was hard. He's still very much in love. He spent the night in the fetal position.

It's a good and right decision for me in the long run. But the next few months are going to be tough. I am not looking forward to it.

You have to remember that things will work out so you can both be happy this way even though its so hard!
