My conch took SO LONG to heal. It's got a teeny keloid on it though and I'm terrible at remembering to put the cream on it. My Tragus was cake compared to my conch. I think I'll get either my rook done next on the other ear or a triple anti helix =)

Ummm yeah I don't know why you're so far behind on that one! But yes, do read the books, super awesome and (IMO) even better than the movie!


I took the dogs to a rinky dink dog park in the area. Happy did awesome and had fun, did a little bit of her version of playing (running alongside another dog for 3 seconds lol), trotted around and sniffed and peed on all the things. It's a stupid dog park and I would never recommend it, it's just a fenced in square of flat land... but that's what makes it so perfect for Happy. I can always see her and there are no trees so I'm not going to lose her in the woods or something lol. It gives me a way to exercise her off leash which I think will be much more beneficial in getting her to lose weight! So hooray for small and stupid dog parks!

I LOVE conch piercings. LOVE them. I've got my rook and a normal cartilage, plus two lobe piercings on my left ear and then on my right, I have my tragus, snug, and two lobes.

My tragus had it's ups and downs. It would be good for a while, and then it would get a small keloid and flare up. I was super good about putting tea tree oil on it twice a day and now it's just about a year old and it's great. I got my rook and snug done at the same time. The rook gave me trouble after the first week and for the past three weeks it has improved tremendously. Now, my snug is giving me crap very similar to what the tragus did. Just a small keloid and some crusting. Tea tree oil and regular cleaning is all I can do. I'd get more piercings in a heartbeat, but DH isn't very fond of them, so right now, three exotics will hold me over.

What kind of cream do you use? I've had good luck with the tea tree oil, but it takes FOREVER to work.
