Mine aren't, they are pretty good when I'm giving attention to other dogs.
Kassie is very protective of me, though. Especially when she's with me while I groom. If I have one rowdy dog one the table, she'll be on the ground barking and telling them off till they settle. If the dog doesn't settle down, it can become irritating but Kassie will listen and go settle down in her crate after I tell her enough, go lay down. |

That... sounds like more than jealousy to me.

There is a reason one of Cara's nicknames is jelly fish. She's gotten much better, but if she's allowed to get away with it she will push other dogs out of the way to crawl in your lap.

My dog and cat are both like that. Look at one and the other one starts crying. And that's before I get out the brush. My cat is also terribly jealous of my laptop

Rocky gets horribly jealous when I pay any attention to Baxter. If I pet Baxter, Rocky pushes him out of the way to get all the attention and poor Baxter walks away heartbroken.
Baxter loves to cuddle with me on the couch. We have a routine that when I sit on the couch, Rocky will sit with me first and Baxter will sit on the other couch. When Rocky gets bored and leaves Baxter makes sure that he's out of sight and then he will run over and sit with me. Heaven forbid if Rocky comes back and sees Baxter sitting with me, you'd think that I just abandoned him. |

Mu is a dirty dirty resource guarder, which is a behavior that I am inclined to put in the jealousy camp. And I'm the most AMAZING RESOURCE EVAR apparently. *buffs nails*
Personally I find the behavior completely obnoxious and we've been working on extinguishing it for ages. I don't know if it'll ever be gone completely but she is finally okay with Tipper coming up and getting love and/or laying on the other side of me. She's never guarded me from Murphy - he'd crush her spirit in a hot second lol.

My dog is also a resource guarder, of toys and food, when it comes to other dogs.
She's an "only child," so it's hard to say how she'd be longterm with sharing my attention, but she gets very whimpery when the cat is cuddled. I do kinda wonder if the resource guarding can be smoothed out to some degree. After all, she doesn't really know that two dogs can play the same game, i.e. fetch or tug, but she could learn. Eventually, I plan to acquire a second dog. I see this behavior becoming quite a chore if not.

When puppy first gets here we will be Premacking it to strengthen the whole situation. If he goes straight to his mat when I am petting puppy, puppy will be put in her crate and Frodo released for attention. The ideal situation would be for Frodo to eventually realize that the way to get my attention won't be to act like an asshat, but to go lay on his mat. TADAAAAA! Of course, we'll see how this actually goes in practice
