I know this is totally off the wall, but has anyone had any experience with this? I hiked 10 miles on Sunday and on Tuesday noticed two itchy spots on my inner thighs. The location made me wonder about irritation from clothing, but I have no idea if this would be red and itchy with delayed onset or if I need to go to the doctor. :P I really don't want to go to the doctor just to be told that I need to wear different pants when I hike long distances. LOL

Most likely from hiking
You can use body glide the next time!

Could be! I wouldn't worry about it unless it spreads or starts bleeding or becomes sentient.
In all seriousness though, I have a serious problem with chafing...I'm that kid who is always covered in baby powder....

LOL Good to know it sounds like that could be it. It's as annoying as heck right now, but I'm trying to keep the spots covered so it doesn't get worse - just itches like crazy. :P
Looks like people either recommend Bodyglide or similar products, or tights/leggings. I have some new tights I'll try on the next hike for sure!
