The BC/Aussie and her Human

Hi, guys!

I'm Kirsten, a college gal from Ohio and the owner of a spirited three-year-old border collie x Australian shepherd named Gypsy. In our town, a well-trained and properly exercised dog is a rarely, so we've taken to the interwebz to find like minded people and their animals to share our experiences with.

I acquired Gypsy as a young puppy. As a lifetime cat owner, I had no idea what I was getting into with a BC pup. There were times when I found the crazy energy unbearable, and I almost gave up. It took me over a year to bond with the rascal, but I'm so, so glad I stuck with it. These days I have an incredible friend whose antics and intelligence amaze.

Some of you may have seen me on another dog forum. I decided to branch out. I have the puppy bug really, really bad, and since it's not time for another dog quite yet (but soon), I gave myself another outlet for my canine fanaticism.
