Is this a decent food? Who manufactures it? Thanks!

Our dogs eat it on a rotation and they all do great on it. No idea on the manufacturer.

2013 Midwestern Pet Foods. That is from their site. http://www.earthbornholisticpetfood.com/us/ My daughter used to be the district sales rep for Earthborn and she had her Ibizan on it. He did well but then up and decided he hated it and stopped eating it. I wish we could feed our guys on it, they would be little solid balls of muscle!

Thanks everyone! I'm a little short on money this week and was thinking it would be good to add to their rotation. I never used to rotate but since I have started it seems they are really picky and they will also just up and stop eating a particular food. Good news that this will be another option for them.

Earthborn is a pretty good food. Made by Midwestern Pet Foods. They also make Pro Pac and Sportmix. Made in the USA.
I wouldn't touch their Primitive Natural formula though... 12% ash is extremely high. I would never feel comfortable feeding it long term.

It was thrown around as a great alternative to TOTW after the recall but I have heard of far more dogs king poorly on it than I have the opposite.

Two of my dogs were licking their paws when eating it. The other two were fine.
My friend has been feeding her two dogs Earthborn grain free ocean fish and they are now constantly getting ear infections after eating it for over 8 months now. She is going back to feeding TOTW since they never or rarely had an ear infection on that food. Are you looking for grain free? The best deals on food are from www.chewy.com or www.doggiefood.com |

Weird- except for the 2 times I goofed and gave Caleb something with beef/dairy in it, he hasn't had an ear infection since switching from Natrual Balance to EB Holistics. Obviously, for him, the ear issues where caused by the potatoes in the NB and not environmental stuff like we had been thinking.

It's very good, and midwestern is a great company.
The only bad thing is that is very hard to find were I live and is the only grain free kibble I can find here.I have tried two versions: The primitive natural keep a good weight on Pompadour. Also the ocean fusion, but this one has larger kibble pieces and Pompadour didn't liked the shapes. If you are worried about ash levels, you can get the kibble mixed wit other brand.
