I joined Planet Fitness today! I was going to sign up online, but ended up driving in that direction to get groceries anyway. So, I signed up in person so I could gauge their reaction to Logan, and I was happy with the result, so I signed up. Looking forward to using it!

I also went ice skating today for the first time since I was 3 or 4. It was fun, and I only went down once lol

I have magical tea.

Seriously, I have been feeling a bit "blah" with a sore throat since I woke up this morning. I just drank a cup of chamomile spearmint tea and ALL BETTER!

This isn't even my good tea, this is some bags I had left over and it just sounded good at the time lol.

A friend nearby just got her salukis. She adopted through the same rescue I did and they flew in from Qatar to Toronto yesterday. (Well they are foster with intent to adopt) Can't wait for puppy play dates! Now all I need is for my boy's leg to heal up!
They are gorgeous! Two female pups, about 8-10 months old.
We are going to have so much fun this summer! We already have a big beach trip planned with some others who have adopted from Qatar as well.

Despite wandering off to do other things in the morning, as soon as she hears me move, there's a Doberman nose poking my side. Or if I'm lucky (not), a cold nose all over my face. And then she starts pulling me out of bed.

My cold is over, my living room is back to normal (furniture and all) after the holidays, and I'm off to a VERY good start getting things (even) more organized 'round here

Its Edys soft churned so you should be able to easily find it anywhere, but I got it at Target. Its yummy! Like mint chocolate chip, except chewy oreo pieces instead of choc chips.
(For the record, my phone really wanted to autocorrect "easily" to "sexily" lol).


Got sent home from work 2.5 hours early - awesome. Even awesomer is that I still get paid for what I was scheduled to work.
