I've spoken to you about this in private but, SEE, I'm not alone. Rue included your three Koolies have a very standardized and unique look. It perplexes me if you guys just got lucky or if everyone else is mixing random herders and saying look it's my koolie-esque dog.

![]() I love her coloring more than the straight merle even, so there! I think more than anything I like the head shape on your dogs, and I think Rue has that same, feminine style head instead of the more blockyish head. |

I adore Zinga's, Traveler's and Rue's head shape so much. Didgie has more of a blocky head shape than I personally prefer but it does add to her cute/spunky look rather than the more elegant/pretty heads that the other three have. At least, I think so.

I get the health testing, makes sense now. Keep asking breeders, perhaps they'll get the hint and do testing on their dogs....

He's very cute and I'm sure going to be a striking dog! I love the black and white coloring.
I have a couple questions mostly because I am very interested in where you guys are going with this. I might seriously be interested in a koolie one of these days. 1. Is Trav health tested? I know he's out for breeding with either of the girls but I was wondering if you're still exploring the option of breeding him eventually. 2. One of my big gripes with koolie breeders I've seen is that there's a lot that don't seem to do much with their dogs sports-wise but then go on to say their dogs can do sports well. What kind of proving/titling are you planning? I know titling is not everything but it's nice to see some proof of ability. 3. How important is stock work going to be in your breeding program? Or are you going to be focusing more on disc and agility?

I think Didgie and Zuma are beautiful. Normally I dislike merle and brindle but they have made me look at merle differently.
The 'solids' look too much like Border Collie and Kelpie/cattledog mixes to me. But I don't know much about breeding and genetics and all that. What is this big merle to merle deal? I know you've probably had several discussions about this, but I don't understand it. Of course they're all cute. I just happen to like the merles more. It's your fault :P It will be nice to see how Zip turns out when he's grown up. Puppy ears are my favorite, especially with pointy eared ones. (I know, I have the dog terminology down. Totally.) |

Zip Tie is adorable.
Does anyone have a picture of Rue? I haven't heard of this dog until today!
