Best advice I ever got when it comes to the whole dating thing?
Work on you. Do what you love and pursue your interests, get out there and do stuff that doesn't suck with people who don't suck.. the significant-other thing will work itself out.

I met Mike when I was finally at the point in my life where I said, "Andrea, stop being so introverted. And stop worrying about finding a relationship. Just enjoy who you are, be comfortable with yourself, and have fun." Literally met Mike through a mutual friend a few weeks after and haven't looked back since.

And, Mike's best friend got out of a bad relationship about a year or so ago and he's ready for another relationship...so if any of you single women have a love for anime, guns, airsoft, and online gaming and are in the midwest, I can recommend someone. LOL

Those "dating" sites Aren't really that bad, tho you have to pay monthly for most of them. Facebook is a good place to meet lots of nice people. Depending on where you are located I have a guy acquaintance (one of my friends on Facebook) who is pretty cute & single & around your age (he's 20) ... Just putting it out there if you are interested.

In all seriousness tho enjoy being single, relationships are hard & there is a LOT of compromise involved when you are attached also a lot of sacrifice. Enjoy your freedom while you can

I met my SO through friends (actually through my Ex), so it just fell into place. Though my Ex was actively trying to introduce my SO and I to eachother.
Most of my other Exes I met through friends, or friends of friends.

I didn't meet any of my Exes when I was "looking" either. In fact I still have offers & guys trying to flirt with me even though I am attached now (not being vain ... Just saying) but I make sure I let them know (in a nice way of course) that I have an OH.

And I sold a car for my coworker with the line "get the one with the sports package. Sports packages get you chicks."
