Default Bandwagon photos

Inspired by the recent camera threads (and FG's photo thread this morning) the intrepid Mu and I set off for the park this afternoon. Where I promptly froze my hands off, took a ton of really bad pictures, and then returned home. Next time: gloves.

I was playing with the camera before we left and got this picture of the McGee - before she barked at me, leaped off the sofa and attempted the murder of a hedgehog.

These are pretty much right off my camera. I had to convert them from RAW, edit out Mu's tag (because I'm sure Matt would like me to not put his phone number on the internet), and resize them. I feel like I cheated a bit because I purposely picked the dog that will stay where I put her. But it did make messing with the camera in between shots a lot easier.

They look fab... I might have a go with RAW, but it's the actual post editing bit that I find the most frustrating!!!!!

If mine are better it's really only because I was lurking in your thread taking the advice there lol. Mu's stay is the main reason I picked her - Tipper is hard to take pictures of on auto sometimes! And as soon as you put her in a stay she acts like you're killing her.

Thanks! There's a weird little skateboard thing at this park and I thought the backing would look cool.

I'm not sure if it's shooting in RAW or getting the exposure right that made such a huge difference in these. I can definitely see a difference between these and my auto pictures though. I'm pretty thrilled with how they came out - I didn't do any editing once I got them off the camera (other than taking Matt's number off the tag).

Thanks! I think her coloring and markings are so gorgeous (not biased at all, nope not me).

I love them!

I wish my camera had a RAW setting, as everyone keeps mentioning it!
