If it's an immue suppressant, it certainly could be slowing the healing down some. If that's the case, then time is really the only thing that will help. Though I'd be tempted to try that EMT gel - I'm planning on picking some up to have on hand, that stuff sounds awesome!

When I picked up his meds today, one of the techs came out and checked his foot. She said its looking good, but gave me chlorhexadine solution to soak it in, and the Doctor said that the emt gel seems like a great product to try.

Maybe soaking in epsom salts will help, then fully dry and put a sock on.
Tynan had a burst cyst in between his toes and the epsom salts and sock worked wonders.

If you haven't tried the EMT gel yet, I highly recommend it! I got a tube and ended up using it on myself and it's freaking amazing. Then I lost the tube and found out I can make it myself at home for much cheaper using unflavored gelatin - http://theeclecticcollie.blogspot.co...e-emt-gel.html

Oh wow! I keep unflavored gelatin around, I'll have to book mark that.
