North East TX got SNOW!

hahaha, yup. Christmas day it poured down rain, the temperature dropped (from 50-something degrees that morning), and we got some snow flurries! It was too dark by the time we had any ground coverage, so these photos were taken Dec 26.

Awesomeness , My mom lives in Van and Sis in Ben Wheeler and they both had snow. I am jealous , we had horrid rain adn wind.

The dogs look like they enjoyed it!

Small world. Yeah, we got pretty lucky. Just a little snow, and we needed the rain.

I hear some parts of Arkansas that are north of me got it pretty bad. Of course, no one is prepared to deal with snow around here. The best we get is having the sand truck go out and sand the bridges. They just deal with power outages as they happen.

We got about 2 inches (pictures were taken after it had already melted some), but some areas got close to 6.
