No insight on the allergies - but I do advise you nip this behavior in the bud FAST, even if you can't figure out the cause soon enough. Even if it's time to wear a cone.
Zander had allergies a couple years ago, and he's never gotten out of the habit. No matter what he eats, he chews and licks. His back feet are constantly red and irritated looking. It's so frustrating to deal with, because you can't always catch it.

No I haven't, I've not heard of them before, I'll go look them up! Thanks!

I'm going to try a food we've done before and see if that clears this up. We've never had this problem before with her. It seems to mainly be located on her back foot.

Another thing for the circulation is you might try massaging his feet a couple times a day.
ETA, and I've noticed the TOTW Pacific Stream poop eating issue too. Knox was terrible about that. |

I almost thought it was a hot spot or something or that sort but it doesn't seem inflamed at all. It's right on the top of her foot.

I've found that when my dog started licking/chewing herself it was because of dry skin. I give her an omega 3 fish oil from nordic naturals (http://www.luckydogvitamin.com/nordi...3-pet-8oz.html) and we haven't had any issues. Hope this helps.
