Question Why might this be?

Bodhi jumps out of her skin every time the other half coughs. Never when I cough, only when he does. And literally flinches. If he coughs she'll either move away from him, or move to him. He could be shouting in the room, and she wouldn't be bothered, but if he coughs... You can feel her tense. She'll do it when his dad coughs too.. she will run up to him and put her head on his knee.

Other than that she lurves him, and always has. They have a good relationship, and he's soft with the dogs, he doesn't shout at them or raise his voice at them, so it's not that.
"Dogs are our link to paradise. They do not know jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing wasn't boring, it was peace."

Bodhi is the opposite of ignorance, the insight into reality which destroys mental afflictions and brings peace.

I agree with MicksMom.. I know that the guys in my family have much more startling coughs (and don't get me started on sneezing!) so it's not really uncommon for Cali or Moses to jump when my dad coughs/sneezes in comparison to if my mom or I do.

The two and a half year old papillon. Crazy. Social butterfly. Clever.
