When I was a kid and we lived in Quebec (80's) they had such a bad storm one year. It lasted 2 weeks. To get out of our house we had to go out through our upstairs bedroom windows. The front door was completely covered. People had no power for weeks. We were lucky because we had a fireplace and a ton of chopped wood as well. So were able to stay warm and cook.

-17C this morning and already had an awesome winter work out by chasing our neighbour's dogs who got out when the daughter left their gate door open. Ah, Canada.
