I have no clue what is going on between Springer and PW...........but nevertheless it made me laugh lol. Thats all. Except of course I will have a puppy too (not that anyone knew that lmao)

So on that topic, just what are your plans for your new puppies? For me, I have been making lists wants, training, courses and extensive socialization plans, been busy already with the little gaffers.
I want to propose we start a trend/thread and plan to start it Jan 1 2013 or we can start it now for those getting a puppy sooner.
52 weeks of Training & Socializing your puppy of 2013:
What are you training?
Problems/Solutions?
Where did you train today, inside/outside, in public? Where in public?
Puppy Classes, what are you learning, frustrations, over joyed?
Recommended books, cd's and online puppy courses.
Record how many people your puppy met this week.
How many places did you take your puppy this week?
Bad or excellent reactions to a situation, place, person or sound? Solutions?

YES! DO IT ADO DO IT! Such an awesome idea and great for those getting winter puppies to kick us in the butt to get out and socialize!

I say we start it like..now lol new years shmew years. I'm getting my puppy next weekend

LOVE the idea Ado!! Except I won't be the one socializing the new puppers, the husband will be. So that makes me a little sad.

Zinga isn't too old to take part! She is more advanced than the pups but it's a great update thread for any dog and a great kick in the butt to keep socialization goin

Plus, Zinga will be a puppy in my eyes for the rest of her life! lol just ignore the long legs.

I was thinking that, but I didn't want my 2012 puppy to impose on the new 2013 puppies. LOL I can kind of keep it updated for whatever the husband does with Zip too.

I agree with Fran, you or anyone else is encouraged to be part of this thread. Besides, even if your hub is doing most of it, you will be a huge part of Zips life etc.

I love the idea of a thread like that Ado!

Heck, we could make a new thread now to even put up things that we are doing to get READY for our new puppies! Books we are reading, etc.
