American horror story: asylum your thoughts?

Since I didn't watch last year I'm kind of coming into this new so the characters are all NW to me.

It seems I'm the opposite of most as I did not get as much into the first season as I have this one. I haven't even watched all the episodes of the first season, but am waiting at the TV for this seasons new episodes to start!

I just love the whole Asylum aspect ... and have enjoyed each episode so far! Though, I'm not too into the whole [alien] aspect of it. I'm also extremely sad about what's happened with Shelley ... I just adored her character!

The characters are all new! They kept some cast members but they play new parts in a hole new storyline.

He's kind of a delicious deranged psychopath. There's just something about the charming and educated ones.

My boyfriend and I have been calling it American Sex Story. I seriously do not remember so much sexual content thrown in for shock value in the last season. I will say I'm glad there was a bit of escalation in the plot in the last episode.

It's okay so far, I still watch and enjoy it but the first season was holding my interest so much better than this one is.

Agreed!

I still feel like it's moving at glacial speed though. And this season seems mostly shock value with little plot, wheras last year it was like watching a freaking maze of amazing, lol.
