Senior food

Now large breed senior was one of the only foods I have tried for my senior Dogo that he could eat enough to be full and loose weight. It is pricey though and right now I am trying Victor Ocean Blend which is working pretty well. Similar guarenteed analysis to the Now.
But if I could afford it I would feed the Now.

Casper gained weight very easily on Acana and Orijen.

Nutrisource grain free large breed lamb was another decent food I have fed. I find the large breeds tend to have less kcal/cup. I feed them to my JRT too.

I think I'm going to check the prices on Now around here. Thus far everyone carries Acana and Orijen like crazy here but I'm not seeing a ton of variety, but yeah I've not gone into a regular dog food store yet. LOL

Lotus has a grain-free duck formula with only 367 k/cals per cup. The ingredient list isnt super fantastico but I really like the idea behind the food. And its not a bad ingredient list by any means.

Or, theres the Natures Logic Lamb or Beef formulas. These arent technically grain-free....they use millet, which I usually consider perfectly acceptable even for dogs who require grain-free. Both formulas come in at around 345 k/cals per cup.

I havent personally tried any of these foods on my dogs yet, but I will be within the next few days. I do hear many good things about them though!

If I had to feed kibble it would be Fromm, Acana/Orijen, and Wellness CORE in that order.

It's one of my top sellers and dogs do soooo well on it. Sucks that the USA can't get it.
