Don't want:
- Rosey is 16 and would be annoyed by a puppy. - I'd want to adopt at this point, and nobody would adopt to me anyway since Rosey is intact. - No place to PUT a puppy. Want: - Rosey is old and I feel bad making her do the 4 hour hikes nowadays, and would like a dog to do that with (ferrets make awful hiking buddies) - Financially at a point where I *could* afford to add another. - Want a little dog so I can dress it up

Want:
- I've wanted a well bred working line pup to raise from the ground up since shortly after I first got Lily. I've been very patient! - I work very close to home and at worst no one is crated more than 4hrs at a time. My boss would let me run home to potty puppy. Heck I could maybe bring it to work even if we were to work toward certifying for therapy work. ![]() - There is something wrong with me and I want a Malinois BAD! lol - I would be able to give everyone one on one time again with a third dog in rotation, since Scout freaks if left behind alone. - I love my rescues, but it would be downright luxurious to have a solid dog with good drives for tug/ball, etc. to work with. - The girls are 4.5 and almost 6 respectively which is a good bit older, but not too old to be cranky at puppy. Do Not Want - Not done saving up yet.

Don't Want:
Our condo has a two-pet limit. I have no more money to throw at classes/trials/food/toys. I already have one very active, time consuming young dog in training. I have no more time to train/play. Meg would either kill me in my sleep or run away from home. Want: Can't think of a single one! I'm very happy with my pair.

Don't Want:
Financially, it would be hard. Day to day care (food, treats, toys) would be fine, but I don't want the added (possibly emergency) vet bills of a third dog. I don't want to take time away from my current dogs, especially Jack. I don't know where I would PUT a third dog - right now Jack and Missy are confined in seperate bedrooms when we leave...but we don't have a third bedroom. Everything my house is very calm and collected right now, I don't want to disturb that. Want: My dogs are getting older (5 and 6), and so is the cat (11). It would be nice to have a younger dog around again! That's about it.

That's (the bolded) is a big one for me too. lol. It's hard to fathom all the commotion that a new puppy would bring, cute as they are. I've gotten spoiled (and lazy) with my seasoned and well behaved adults.

Don't want:
- Just got a new puppy and now both my dogs are under 5 years old. Going to have my hands full with training for both. - Two is the perfect number for us, three would be hectic. - Renting with anymore than two is HARD! - School will not permit anymore with as much time I'm going to have to put into that. - Financially, adding a third is not a good plan. |

Want:
I'd like a solid, friendly, focused dog for pursuing sports and activities with. Zoie is older and has bad knees. Romeo is going blind. Skye is...Skye. Every time I'm like aw just stick with Skye, maybe if you worked really hard she would learn to love sports..and then I go and work with her and it's just.. no. It's like trying to train a llama. Okay so I want Romeo with good eyes . My three are all 6+ years old and it would be good timing in that aspect.Do Not Want: Bad timing. Living with mom...it's good the dogs aren't alone for too long, BUT, a puppy would be growing up with her....not good. I already segregate Romeo and Soldier and worry about adding another strong willed dog of either sex. I'm working and going to school full time. I'm looking into moving. The house is relatively stressful lately. I was planning on a puppy for the Spring but I'm not going to. It might work out in the end but..I'm not going to complicate things for myself. I'm pretty much settled down to wait.
