That day, I would use it all to buy a crap-ton of gold.

After that day, I would take the gold and convert it to regular savings and investments.

As far as cool stuff I'd buy with it?

Pay off my immediate family's debts and stuff.

Buy my sister and her family a house.

Get my mom that laser eye surgery so she won't need glasses anymore.

Enroll my kids in all those dance classes they keep pining over.

Put my daughter in an awesome private school.

Buy a modest house in Seattle

Buy a huge spread of land in the country and build several really nice houses on it. Give one to my sister, keep one for me. The others could be "rented" to awesome friends and it will be our artists and writers commune/retreat.

Start working on my zoi kennel. Plus fila and/or ANCD

Get my pineywoods cows and painted desert sheep.

Build an awesome art studio. Woo!

I'd peel off enough for my adult children to be able to care for their children by eliminating some of the stress they carry on their shoulders, but I also know that too much of anything is a bad idea, so enough to be comfortable but not enough to forget what it is really all about.

I would peel off enouh for Hyia to be able to go to college, and not have to face the struggles of trying to support herself during the process, and enough to live comforablly but not too in access.

I would do the same for my step daughter so she could care for the children she so obviously loves and help her go to college to be the incredible woman I know she is, and to help the people I know she would help.

I would peel off the a very large portion of it and send it to the rescues that I know do what they do, because they wouldn't waste a dime of it, and it would go to where I know it is needed most.

I would walk away from this horror of a place that I live, and find a place where I dind't have to look at another neighbor or deal with their domestic arguements and child neglect and their animal neglect. I woudlnt' need much, just an out. One thing, before I left, I would get Mary down the street a car so she could care for her son and not be beholding to anyone.

I would buy a bigger kiln, a supply of clay and tell the world to take a flying f with it's big tvs and fancy cell phones, and commercialism I can't stomach any more. I would keep doing exactly what I am already doing, and at the end of the day I would probably be just as exhausted as I am tonight, but I would be a lot less worried about the people I love most and that woudl be enough.

Go Petie Go Go Who Go!

love comes in many directions with mary

Side by side on the sofa sat three annoyed dogs and one smug cat
and then in came a little white kitten,

A house for me and my boyfriend, probably close to where we currently live. Want a 3-bedroom one with a privacy fenced yard for the dogs.

I'd buy a house for my parents up here, too, so they could visit me in the summer.

Cars for the whole family, since everyone always seems to need them. Nice, new, high quality cars. I think it'd be stupid to buy extreme luxury cars, since we couldn't keep any of the money afterwards and maintaining those cars is quite pricey.

Some luxury shopping. Nice clothes, makeup, VIDEO GAMES, giant-ass TV, new computer for my boyfriend. Gifts for everyone I know.

Invest, after that. Either in stocks or real estate or whatever I was advised to do. I'd tie up every penny in something.

- Pay off all family debt/loans etc..
- Buy a pent-house in new york on central park. Something with a fire place, huge windows, mahogany floors, enough space for a library, 3 bedrooms and a dog room of course lol

- college fund for all the kids in the family
- Buy a personal trainer/martial arts coach
- Car/driver forever so I never have to drive or get on a bus again lol
- Buy a huge house in haiti on the beach for my mom.. plus a yoga studio for her to teach
- Donate. Somewhere. Everywhere. Probably mostly to UNICEF
- Get a hall or library or something named after me at Oxford lol that would take at least a few million..
- Breast reduction.I love my boobs but they are IN THE WAY.
- Go shopping. Buy 100 pairs of J brand jeans because they fit me like nobodys business and I love them.. buy 100 white t-shirts from gap because I do love them, buy enough blank converse to last me a lifetime, etc..
- Pay me therapist for 3 times a week sessions lol why not?

Disclaimer: I work for Trupanion and love it/our policy! But I do not speak for the company or as the company.

pay for my dads house and give him enough to retire on

Same for my mom

Buy our house out in thecountry with inlaws quarters. My MIL/FIL can summer here and my mom can come spend the winters down here.

invest in Gold.

Give our church enough money to pay off our property, pay the bills and have a nice stash so we can help people out more when they get in a sticky spot

Buy a big stash of non perishables for the local mission.

college fund for my neices and nephews (and Hannah of course lol)

go shopping and buy myself the clothes, shoes and bras I so desperately need

hmmmm what else?

Pay off the house and car and medical bills.

I'd buy a motorcycle.

Buy a ton of gift cards for my favorite places.

Move the remainder of the money and put it on a prepaid Visa card.
Thank you Vivien and Angel Chicken for the siggy! Also I have been frosted!!! And as of 9/13/07 I know the secret handshake!

Certainly pay off my debts and family debts. I'd also pay off the outstanding mortgage/revolving credit that my church has.
Then I'd pre-pay the tuition for undergrad/graduate school for both of my kids. One is already accepted to the school of her choice, so that's easy enough. I'd have to figure out what to do for the youngest, but there are pre-paid tuition plans out there. I'd also pay tuition for me to go back to school and get an advanced degree.
Assuming I'd still have a few million left at this point, go for the new home/car/etc. Vacation home in the mountains. The material fun stuff.

The rules say that I can't "give it away", but I bet I could throw a heck of a dinner for the local homeless facilities. Use the rest to buy stuff that they need.

I'd pre pay for a few very expensive trips: safari in Kenya, extended tour of Australia, extensive trip through Asia to hit up Thailand, Japan, India, etc...

I'd pay off every debt I owe (car, house, etc)

I'd do a TON of online shopping to save time

And then I'd spend the rest on gold so I could sell it the next day and buy a few houses, cars, things for family and friends (a vacation home for my parents, a condo for my sister for college, etc) without having to do that ALL in a day. I'd also make sure enough was invested so I'd never have to work again!
