Dogs are dubbed as "Velcro pets" because they would take every opportunity to be close to their human friends. Dogs want to be petted and cuddled and in doing so may have developed an inclination to rub its butt on you. There's really nothing wrong with the pet's action. Doggie is simply showing his affection. But it would be a different matter if doggy is having a bout of diarrhea.

It's definitely a sign of affection. Dogs sniff other dog's butts to get to know each other. It's just your dog offering his "hand"
![]() As an aside, my oldest daughter (now approaching 18) used to sit on things that she liked when she was a toddler. Thank God my cat was tolerant because she really liked him

Because it's "highly rated" on the site. If you look at the stars it shows, the most active and most highly rated threads get hit the most with spambots.
