The Venting Thread

Im so sick of our online yardsale site for the area.

I was interested in a group of toys for the kids for Christmas and told them I would buy them and where is she? Shes a freaking HOUR outside of town. Im 40 minutes from town and shes the OTHER direction. So then I ask her if she comes into town at all and she says every few months. WTF dont list somewhere a HOUR away unless you GO there frequently.

Then the other had a highchair I REALLY liked for Savannah and I asked her if it was ok to pick it up on weds. She said fine and shes now sold it to someone else. I bypassed 2 highchairs for that one. they were the only 3 that had the freaking harness straps still on them as well and werent NASTY.

I think its just time for me to leave it and go back to just buying new or consignment stores.

Oh and while Im at it (im pmsing so yeah everything is pissing me off more then normal LOL)
Im running a local co-op from a LARGE out of state co-op since a bunch of us wanted to order from it. You order by spreadsheet. I have items on there that me or the 2 people that ASKED if they could just add to the spreadsheet instead of sending it to me to add didnt put on there. So now I have to try and track down these diapers to who put them on there.

yesterday it was 60 in my house all day 50 at night.

Its now 90.

hey you think thats bad, try living in the second largest state in the US... everything is FAR apart here, my work alone is over an hour one way & thats if there isnt any traffic. plus they lowered the speed limit from 70 to 65 btw these two towns because i guess too many ppl were pulling out in front of oncoming traffic... grrrrr, i hate towns that dictate that kind of sh**t.

Yeah. The closest city is about 4 hours from me. Nothing is in Montana. Nothing.

I live 30 minutes from the closest store so its normal for me but its NOT for the city/area these people posted in. 1 hr to get there is ridiculous for a 2 dollar toy when NO one goes to where she lives. I used to drive about a hour to school each day so im not unfamiliar with it just not going to drive a hour out to the country for a 2 dollar toy when I can buy it in the store for the price gas is going to cost.

yep i spend about $70 a week in gas, thank god for my SO living fairly near there i work or else i couldnt have taken the job ( all my money would have gone to fuel)

only reason we survive it is we have a Hyundai Elantra we are getting ready to buy a Expedition though. Thankfully it wont be used for those trips regularly

Im a farm/ranch girl so i have & need a truck LOL. i have an 02 GMC sierra ext cab that i absolutely love, i gave up my first truck (98 chevy Z 71 wiith a 454) because it got 15 miles on the HW if it was lucky for a eco car & i regretted every day of it. Major PITA when i needed to haul things & couldnt & also it was a major cramp in my style too. plus ranch roads arent kind to hybrids/cars. so a yr ago when i totalled that car (someone pulled out in front of me & i couldnt stop in time) i went the truck route again.
