Meet the boys. Duke is a four year old Lab and Freckles is about a three year old 'who knows what". Based on his looks I have decided Freckles is a new breed I will call an Australian Border Spaniel. I think the covers most of his possible lineage.
This is my first post so I hope the photo shows up. If not I will try again. Years ago I posted a web site to inform people about Bloat, a condition that almost killed my old Lab, Jake. I encourage everyone to read this page to become familiar with the symptoms of Bloat. It is especially important if you have a large breed dog. http://home.flash.net/~jdebess/index.htm The boys also have a page on dogster.com at: http://www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?j=t&i=16035 From Dukes page you can get to Freckles. I look forward to participating in this forum.

Welcome to the forum. Beautiful dogs.
I'm familiary with bloat as, years ago, my father's Weimeraner (sp) died from it. Gulping food and exercise soon after causes the stomach to twist. You're so right about feeding two meals per day.
