Fromm Weight Management Gold and Fromm Small Breed Adult Gold

Quote:
Manufacturer: Fromm Family Foods

Product Description: Fromm Family Foods adds two new recipes to its Fromm Gold line. Fromm Weight Management Gold, made with a special blend of lean turkey liver, duck, chicken, lamb, whole eggs and real Wisconsin cheese, is a lean, 10 percent-fat food formulated to control calorie intake without sacrificing other valuable nutrients, helping to manage weight and keep dogs healthy, the company reports. Fromm Small Breed Adult Gold features a wholesome blend of duck, chicken, lamb, eggs and Wisconsin cheese all perfectly balanced for the small breed dog's metabolism, according to the manufacturer. Also, by featuring a smaller kibble size it is more manageable to eat, the company adds.

^this kind of makes me laugh... I LOVE Fromm, but I don't know how they could make a kibble any smaller! Their kibble is TINY!

I'm torn. I think both of these formulas are unnecessary, but at the same time i think yay!! because more Fromm.

I also completely agree with Brittany on the size factor.

It's actually a fine powder.

Yeah the grain free line is TINY. Which makes it great for training!

It's disappointing to see any good company start to make these types of formulas. Your dog is fat? Feed it less. Don't just feed it food fortified with filler. If you MUST feed filler, feed it something like green beans.
