Really proud of Strider and my parents old man cat, Kiki, today.

Usually Kiki is terrified of the dogs. He'll glimpse one through a window and streak off like he's being chased by fiery death hounds. Strider loves this "game" and feeds into it whenever he gets a chance. Like lunging at him through the front window. Or running on top of him if they happen to get in the yard together.

Magically, this morning, Kiki was on the porch and I warned him Strider was coming out. He. Just. Stood. There. He caught Strider's eye and I told him to leave it before he had a chance to prank-lunge, and he did. Not only that, he totally left it. Usually if I say it, he won't lunge but he'll give Kiki The Eye or do something passive aggressive that scares Kiki because he likes getting a reaction.

Not today though!

Abe jumped 16" last night at agility. From a dog who wouldn't get near any equipment a few weeks back to almost running a full course at 16" made me cry I was so happy.

I put a jump out with the weaves today and did jump-weave and weave-jump exercises with P.
I have no words for how amazed this little dog makes me. I want to give him ALL THE COOKIES to show him how proud I am. It's still not enough.

I must say I'm quite impressed with the size of the hoard of socks Fable managed to stash in the litterbox in one day. 21 socks. Some are even matching pairs.
At least I'm not wondering where the hell all my socks are anymore.

FYI, the cats- not so impressed with Fable's hoarding skills.

I was wondering the same thing hahaha.

Bamm is doing so well with Joey. They actually play together now and Bamm is being pretty patient with Joey's bouncy puppyish antics. I thought it would take longer for Bamm to get used to having a male dog around, but its going really well.

Cricket got out today. The landlord accidentally left the door open and she ran outside with his dog. She came running when Josh called which I think is big since I wasn't there and she usually listens to me better.
