"Me time" occurs when everyone is in bed asleep and the dishes and laundry are washing and we're ready for the next day.

I love to curl up on the couch with a book. I love reading because I can get away from it all. It's such a stress reliever for me.

The other thing I do is go out to the barn to be with Raja and Bullseye. I usually spend that time grooming them (another great way to physically and mentally relieve stress), but sometimes I just lean on Raia and talk to them about everything going on. Sometimes I'll sit down in Raja's stall, but I have to be careful, as Raja will lower himself to lie down as well.....except he wants to be in my lap. O_O I love my boy, and I love snuggling, but there's something a bit terrifying (?) about an 800-900 lb horse trying to lie down in your lap (aka squashing you underneath him in the name of love). Lol

I have plenty of me time, when they're in bed or when they're in school. Ok I often have to do laundry or whatnot, but still. If I want to just sip some tea while watching a show, I can.

Fraid that's when I crawl in bed all warm with Victor in my arms and Pepper at my feet. That's the part of the day I work towards from the time I wake up. I do try to get in at least a half hour practice on the piano, so maybe that's my time too, but seldom get that done more than maybe 4 or 5 times a week.
