Dameon has fleas

I am officially grossed and freaked out.

I noticed last night that Dameon's skin was irritated and he had scratch marks all over his back. I checked him over, but didn't see any fleas...today I rechecked and yup - fleas. Everywhere. I am horrified.

Checked both of the rats and they don't have fleas, thank God.

I'm going to put some revolution on him tonight. What else should I do? He is the only animal in my apartment and he doesn't go anywhere, so now I'm worried *I* have fleas. I'm also worried my apartment is now infested with them. Fleas just creep me the crap out. What do I do to make sure my apartment is flea free?

Also, can I put something on the rats, just in case? Mike's dogs are all treated for fleas and they don't come over anyway, so unless I have fleas (*gag*) I don't know how they could be here.
