Got Zane's new bag of Pacifica and the first thing I notice is that is smells odd. He ate it with no issues, no poop issues.
Anyone else notice it? Is it due to the formula change? This is the first bag I've gotten since the formula change, so that was what I was sorta assuming. But I wanted to make sure.

I thought it REALLY REALLY stunk like fish. Dogs loved it though and ate it to no ill effect.

But this bag doesn't. More... potato-y? I dunno.

Maybe I got an older bag. I mean that stuff really stunk to high heaven. I had to drive home with the window open when I had an open bag in the car and even then the car stunk for a couple days.

I would guess it's from the formula change too. Although it still has plenty of fish in it so you'd think that would still be a potent smell.
Last week I bought a bag of Wild Prairie for the first time, it smells like peas or potatoes to me. Smells better than any other kibble I've had though. =P But yeah I know that can't really be compared to the Pacifica since chicken doens't really have an odor.

I found a thread on our forum that talks about a slight formula change:
