My all-time favorite though is from a co-worker at my day job...

I was telling her that Buzz eats raw meat. And then I told her we sell multiple brands of it.

She's absolutely convinced that anyone buying raw meat/food is secretly hoarding tigers and lions...

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at those, because they're freaking hilarious but sucky that we actually have to have those conversations on a daily basis.

I guarantee you that the lamb is older than the poor chickens that go in your dog food, lady.

You go to the grocery story and try to buy 20 pounds of salmon for less...

I know this isn't dog related but..."If I buy that bunny, and don't feed it as much, will it stay small?". Completely serious.

Whoever started that godforsaken myth of ____ will only grow to the size of it's cage/tank should be lynched.

A co-worker who used to be in charge of fish at Petco had a conversation with a family that wanted a goldfish, but would be suited better to a Betta. When my co-worker suggested a Betta their response, completely serious was:

"But you can't pet Betta fish"
