I'll try for videos soon when I have a friend to train with. Lately I've been alone and just not up for trying to prop my phone properly. hahah but I'd love some proof, he really is thinking, today I did some jumping pinwheels exiting out to the shoot and he missed it, spun, barked, I said shoot, he turned looked, found it and dove in. I was blown away and so thrilled. I never knew he could think. lol

Glad to hear so many folks are having fun

BostonBanker -- If the day comes and you're not feeling it, you can always make up your own course around the teeter and take the NQ. Better to set him up for a lifetime of success and agility love and blow that first run then push it, and you'll still get a good sense of how he reacts to a trial environment when actually running. But then I'm apparently in the third dog relaxation mode

Unfortunately we do AKC because it's pretty much the only game in town and have to schedule 2 months out. Ick! And Mira's scratched from the fall trial run due to being in heat...which is a HUGE bummer. But Webby and I will have fun and lil Cookie is going to get her first agility trial environment exposure which should be entertaining

I started doing weave poles with Payton again. Axed the 2x2s, we're just shaping it and using a bit of the weave-a-matic action to help us along.
Holy crap. This dog makes me excited. And also frustrated because WHERE IS YOUR BRAIN SOMETIMES PAYTON, but very, very excited.

I feel bad today. Summer's class is still on for this session but Mia has no class. Home from work and Mia is acting crazy but I'm going to have to put her up and take Summer with me tonight. I feel guilty because Mia needs it and Summer doesn't.

I liked it when they both had class the same night.

Replace PAYTON with Backup and I totally share that. LOL

Can you go early or stay after and work Mia at all between classes?

Poor Mia!

I skipped drop-in agility tonight...felt too bad about taking Webster (who just went to the club to train last night after puppy class) and leaving Mira at home when Mira so desperately needed something...anything...but is banned from classes until she's out of heat...grrr. But we're lucky enough to have the field so we did some training on there and she blew off a little steam, and watching Mira train gets Webster all rev'd up so he was flying And Cookie was tethered to watch and was absolutely fascinated lol. Hubby took poor Kim on a walk til we were done so she didn't have to be frustrated about not being allowed to play...

Replace Payton or Backup with Gusto, and add in a "Will you just stop and breathe for 2 seconds?!" and that's pretty much every training session with Gusto.

I definitely love Backup videos... Just sayin'

Poor Mia.... I HATE when we have like a week off or have to miss class for some reason.... Maybe try like Shai said and see if you can work her at other times there?

I can't wait to hear about Gusto's debut!! I'm sure he will be awesome

Congrats on all the Qs, MandyPug!!!

We had a bit of a big day... It was our first time trying weaves outside, off leash. We only tried my front yard, though, as I figured Kimma's somewhat used to being out there and would probably stay there even if distracted. She did really well!!! Focused on me the whole time! Can't wait to add some jumps (though my lawn is small and on a bit of a hill, so I'm not sure how many I can realistically add....). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWwoII4LRWw

Okay... not much but I have one.

Tonight we checked out a friends course. Err.. It's desert dirt and the aframe flexed but I was dying to try him a bit outside and I was really happy with our progress.
