I figured out where I've seen him before. There was a picture post on dogforums once with him there. Just found it again. :/ I hate seeing dogs from forums pop up on craigslist.
I just remembered him because it wasn't long ago and I thought he was very handsome.

LGD's (at least the one's I've come across) are not entirely unsuitable for urban/apartment living. They obviously can't roam as much as they'd like to in such a environment so if you'd like one and you've got the time, energy, patience and drive to keep up with their needs, exercise (ALOT of it), and tasks to fill their heads and paws with - it's not entirely dismissible. Our yard is a decent size but by no means huge either (a little more than a quarter of an acre) and the house is very much in the middle of a residential area and a busy road, but we're doing well and Katalin is quite content (although she would prefer to really roam in pastures of green as far as the eye could see I'm sure - in fact so would I). But she's been acclimatized to this since she was 12 weeks old - so no doubt it was a factor along with her low drive and gentle temper that has helped her come along so well in the city. Re-homing a 18 month old from a acreage/country situation is quite different for sure though - and I agree I wouldn't want to see him in an apartment/condo or with some ding dong that expects a golden's personality in a "cool" dog's body. I've emailed a old classmate with the link - he lives out in Abbotsford on a lot of 8.5 secured acres with a big family; they have experience with guardy dogs (Dobies, Shepherds, and a Rottie), have been looking for a dog for abit, and certainly have the space and people to make him happy. So they will see how it goes =) He told me in a email back that he thought "Tank" was a handsome guy too.

Nice! I hope something works out. If he's really half anatolian I could see that maybe making him a bit more active than a typical LGD. Our neighbors (and my best friend growing up) got an anatolian puppy. She was... busy. lol. She finally did settle down, but wasn't what I'd call a low key dog. Not sure if that's typical of the breed or not though.
