Tosa Inu's in traditional ring garb
Very interesting and Samurai-ceremonial looking outfits, I'm only guessing that the patterns on the outfits symbolize the rank/status of the dog. In both Chinese and Japanese culture Dragons and Golden patterns signify superiority and nobility - and other mythical creatures, animals or flowers used in symbolism all come immediately after. I could be - and am probably completely wrong about the significance of the patterns for the dogs though.
I can't imagine they'd have a match wearing something like that though - just seems like it would hinder the dogs too much...    The outfit looks wicked though - enough of these little sweaters and dresses they sell in the doggie boutiques - this is bad a$s!

Might need to commission a Hungarian theme heavy duty collar for Katalin. Lions and dragons in gold with brass flowers perhaps?

Regardless of the garb, I love the looks of those dogs! They don't look like red melted candle versions of what they should be.
