I don't know anything more than this. It is a crosspost from an e-mail animal rescue list. Wouldn't it be great if some one could take care of the dogs until the child was well and give them back. That is my fantasy. Anyway if you can want more info

MIRACLE: brittany/cocker mix. She is fixed, very good with kids and other
animals. Crate trained!
PUPPY: He is a chiweenie, very good with animals and kids and is fixed.
Crate trained!

They belong to a young couple whose child is very ill and they are going to
have to take her to a hospital out of state Treatment may take as long as
6 months They have to have placement before 9/1. Can anyone find it in
their heart to help this family by taking their beloved pets? They really
have no other choice..sometimes when people surrender their pets, there is
a good reason, this is just that case!
