i bought pockets at 5 dollar a diaper and they are OS. They fit Morgan and Bev just not Savannah.

SO a stash of 50 cost me 200 dollars.

THere is a group here in our city that you can get used ones, sometimes new ones for free or very cheap. And if they don't have them you can get them for really cheap off of Kijiji. I got my first childs cloth ones from Salvation Army and they worked great and were in really good condition. We plan to donate the ones we get either back to the group, if we get them from there, or if we get them from Kijiji we still plan to donate them to the group when we are done with them. They last a long time.

Yes, yes and yes. I'm making my own. I love them for the cute, green AND health factor.

When I'm on photobucket I will post pics of my stash.

I don't because I am lazy and I don't want to deal with the ick factor of rinsing poop, I dealt with enough of that potty training Mason!

And I know there are ways to "store" them to keep them from smelling, such as the wet bags and buckets and such, but then at some point you have to open the wet bag or the bucket. Kind of like the diaper champ thing we have. I don't even use it because I rather take the diapers out before they start smelling instead of that keeping the smell out of the room, but then when I go to open the thing and take the full bag out it smells SOO bad!

I do however want to get cloth training pants when it comes time to potty train Shay.

The idea of used cloth diapers disgusts me. I wont put my kid in used underwear, i wouldnt do it for diapers either.

Plus, cloth diapers means too much dealing with poop and too much laundry XD

I totally agree. When I got mine from Salvation Army they were clean and looked almost new though you could tell from the velcro they had been used. I had no issue with it. With the price of new ones there is no way we could get them. But with the group and with Kijiji we can and we won't pass that up. As long as they are clean and then we reclean them here with bleach and such I see no issue.
