what kills me is all the Romney is the end of the world BS. as governor of Mass he DID sign off on socialized medicine similar to obamacare, he didn't ban abortion nor institute a state religion. AND the conservative movement has called him a RINO (republican in name only).

Actually, Romney in action doesnt worry me horribly but what he is SAYING he wants and stands for is vastly different from what he has done.

I used to be in favor of third party candidates years ago. However, many third parties and their candidates are downright wacky or extreme in their views. People just don't notice it because they get so little attention. The the two major parties are more mainstream. I think some major campaign finance reform would help the two parties.

Words can not express how pissed I am that he was picked as the VP candidate. Up until that point I felt like someone said earlier, (anyone except Obama!). I kept saying he'd better not pick Michelle Bachman or I'd scream and never vote for him. Then he ends up picking Michelle Bachman in an Eddie Munster mask.

I really think he lost the election with that. He (or whatever boneheaded party advisers pushed him into it) totally alienated all the independents who were upset with Obama, which was really a huge part of the voting pool.

Eh, yes and no. What is actually done is not the same they say...but to me, Romney is very different as several things he is attacking Obama over are things he actually already did....the budget is a good example.
