Alfheim has FANTASTIC dogs!!!! I'm so jealous, one of my best friends got a puppy from their last litter and I am GOING TO STEAL HIM.

The beezy goodness.

He's so good with babies. When my son is crawling across the floor he commando crawls behind him and hi-fives the soles of his feet.

If you get one from them, you'll definitely get your wire coat. That's all they work with.

Momto8, they have some nice looking dogs as well! That sucks that the breeding didn't take, fingers crossed for this new stud!

Romy- He is a cutie! I swear, the more Beezers I see the more I love them!

**Note to self, don't take beezer puppies to Oly, Romy will steal them **

Random, possibly stupid question lol.

You have to hand strip the wire coated ones correct?

I know of ppl that have done it, most people do not recommend it for showing at all, the judges would rather see the dogs in their normal coat. you do trim them up a bit, but not actual stripping.

As far as I know the majority of wire owners pretty much wash and that is it, and some basic trimming, pretty low maintenance

How hardy are they? My two play pretty rough sometimes, and I know they are built a lot thicker then a Beezer. Also, we get pretty cold winters sometimes, will they need a coat of some kind when they are outside? And from what I've read they are pretty dog/people friendly, but can be sort of aloof with strangers. To what extent are they aloof? I have a cat, do you think if raised with a variety of animals and given a good outlet for their prey drive they will be ok with them? I ask because my Carolina dog is the WORST when it comes to chasing/killing squirrels and birds, but is totally reliable when left with baby kittens/ferrets/etc. She has excepted them as "pack members" of sorts. Granted, it took a LOT of training, but the result was well worth it.
