I have two older dogs (12 and 15) and both of them have been barkers. This hasn't been a big issue because we lived in a detached house for years.
We we had to downgrade a month ago and ended up getting into a townhome. We where scared that they would bark and people would call for the noise. The day we brought them back home we started strick rules for them to follow. Over were the days of running free and pulling us around. They now have to wait until we leave the house before they can leave. We have a can with pennies that we shake if they bark. I know they say you can't treat an old dog new tricks but the transfromation I have seen is unreal. |

How did you teach them?
