Default Do you do stupid stuff like this too?

I own a stopwatch, an actual stopwatch.
But at night when I time out my planks, I use the stopwatch feature on my phone instead of the real stopwatch...

Why?? Why don't I just use the real stopwatch? I think this is so weird. I really don't know why I do this. I keep going to get my phone out of my bag at night instead of just picking up the stopwatch. Then I almost leave my phone at home the next day because my phone is sitting in my bedroom forgotten about from the night before... it would make SO MUCH MORE sense to just use the freaking stopwatch.

But I don't.

Somebody tell me I'm not alone in dumb stuff like this LOL.
It's not even like it's an iPhone or anything fancy, it's a very basic phone that just happens to have a stopwatch feature...

All. the. time
I look back at some of things I do and wonder how I've survived this long sometimes.

The other day, I was holding an ice cream cone and my Iphone. Someone bumped into me, and I dropped everything.. which one did I jump to catch? .. the $2 ice cream cone.

I KNOW I have work this morning EARLY. What do I do the night before? netflix til 4.

I've done this too, haha... except it wasn't an ice cream cone, I think it was my drink or something.

One time I also was stupid enough to grab Jackson's retractable leash to try and stop him going after a squirrel instead of hitting the button. I had a nice burn on my finger.

Yeah...

Catching a hot pan of cookies falling out of the oven with my bare forearm instead of the hand encased in an oven mitt. I still have an awesome scar from that. All of the cookies were saved so it was worth it.

I own a nice alarm clock. What do I use for an alarm? The phone alarm on my 8 year old scuffed up old LG flip phone.

Absolutely. I'm excessively impulsive, so most of what I could do would be classified as stupid!

But I use my phone to time long runs and even intervals (!?): Even 100s where it would be way more prudent to use a stopwatch. It's clunky and awful and I have no reason to use it. But I do anyway!
