I've never used topical flea stuff but I've had to use anti-itch spray on Baxter for allergies and Rocky gets eye ointment on a regular basis.
Rocky doesn't really care, he'll sit there and let you do anything to him and then walk away when you're done with no hard feelings. Baxter on the other hand, thinks that you're trying to murder him from the time the spray bottle comes out. He'll run and hide, then when you find him he'll flail and roll until you're done. For a few hours after that he'll sulk and give you the stink eye every time you come near him. |

All ours react the SAME WAY to that stuff. They sulk, avoid us, etc..
My theory is that it's such a strong chemical smell. but either way, ya.. what I tell our crew.. it's better then being eaten alive by fleas. Florida is AWFUL these days. The flea thing is getting out of hand. Have you tried any of the internal ones? Trifexis/Comfortis kind of thing? |

We're a chemical-free household as far as the pets go, so Rosey would probably look at us like "WTF ARE YOU DOING? You're weird"
