Wow... there is SO MUCH variety in Pyrsheps! All of them are adorable, but I think Savvy is the cutest.

I love the breed temperament test. I wish more breed clubs would organize something like that, and understand that not all breeds should have the temperament of a Golden.

Glad you had fun!

Are a lot of them docked/cropped? It seems like a lot of the ones in the pictures are, but with some of a really heavily coated dogs it's almost hard to tell. Not many smooths either it seems?

I think he's pretty cute too but I might be biased

Thanks! I really wasn't expecting it I'm glad the PyrShep National is so close, so often

I love that test (the anti-CGC, LOL) and I wish Cardis had something like that... Way cool.
I think he will stay a Muppet Face His coat is so interesting, it's always changing but I don't think he'll ever be as hairy as the RFs. He might get as much hair as Grandma Widget though? http://www.madcap.name/Widget.html

When I read over the TCQ test, I thought "Savvy will pass this with flying colors!"

A lot are docked, some are natural bobtails. I'd say all natural dogs are the minority but there were others there. Some are docked. I think some people who want to show panic when their puppies ears get wonky and crop them. I talked to several people who said they'd planned to leave them natural but the ears started looking weird. Savvy's ears have gone through all sorts of phases and mostly have settled to a rose ear. A few people with natural eared dogs said they glued their dog's ears as puppies.

Historically, SF dogs just occasionally popped up in litters and there has never been a huge number of them. There are probably more now than ever because there are people breeding for SF but that variety is still only, I think about 10% pf the breed. There were some very nice SF dogs there though. The sire and dam of the brindle boy I posted the head shot of both are SF and both are in the final line up for BOB for a Select/AOM. He and his dam are both natural bobtails with natural ears.

And now, Savvy stacked. Kinda. This took a really long time to get because Savvy does not stop moving very long at all...
